BharatNet is the world’s largest rural broadband project. It is one of the flagship projects envisioned by the Government of India to digitally connect all the Gram Panchayats and Villages of India. In order to achieve the target in the stipulated time, it is necessary to exploit various wired and wireless technologies and design a network topology.
Bharat Broadband Network Limited (BBNL) is a Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and is responsible for the BharatNet project deployment and implementation.
Jaspreet Singh contributed to the development of a BharatNet planning tool to enable improved reach of BharatNet where the Gram Panchayats are not connected by Fiber.
